==About Edmund==
 +
Edmund is one of the most dynamic characters in the series, as he undergoes a change from spiteful and selfish to repentant and just. Not wanting to admit that Lucy had been right, Edmund lies and says that he and Lucy had only been pretending that they visited Narnia. Because of his betrayal, Edmund is not present when the Pevensies meet Father Christmas, and so he does not receive any gifts. But when he is rescued from the White Witch by Aslan's followers, Edmund repents of his treachery and is eventually knighted by Aslan. Because of his experience, Edmund is able to relate to Eustace's conversion in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. "Between ourselves," Edmund tells him, "you haven’t been as bad as I was on my first trip to Narnia. You were only an ass, but I was a traitor."

[[File:3774.jpg|left]]Edmund and the other friends of Narnia are gathered together on Earth when King Tirian suddenly appears before them. They all sense that something is wrong, and decide to recover the magic rings so that Eustace and Jill can go back to Narnia to help. Edmund and Peter go to Digory's old house in London and dig up the rings. Edmund is with Peter on the train platform when the train crashes. Immediately after that, they find themselves in another world. Edmund meets Tirian when Tirian throws himself through the stable door, and witnesses night falling on Narnia. Edmund goes "further up and further in" with the others as Aslan leads them to His country.
