==About Drinian==
 +
Drinian is a loyal friend and subject to King Caspian. He is a very skilled captain and steers the Dawn Treader expertly during the voyage. He can be slightly impatient with "landlubbers" trying to interfere with his sailing, though he is never unkind. As befits a captain entrusted with the safety of the crew, Drinian is a cautiously skeptical man, as he shows when he warns Lucy that the dragon's tears could be insincere. On the Dark Island, Drinian does not abandon the wheel even though he, like the others, is beset by terrors. Drinian appears to be of higher birth than the crew members, and after the Dawn Treader returns to Narnia he becomes a lord at Caspian's court. It is assumed that he becomes one of Caspian's most trusted councillors in the affairs of the country. Drinian is a faithful friend to both Caspian and Rilian, and though he misjudges the danger of the beautiful woman who enchants Rilian, he is willing to atone for the mistake with his life.
